Annapurna Base Camp is a worthwhile exploration to the immensely beautiful landscape surround by the magnificent peaks Annapurna I (8091 m), Annapurna South (7219 m), Machapuchhre (6993 m) and Hiunchuli (6441).

The western Nepal offers verities of landscape with welcoming culture, where Annapurna region lies. Annapurna is the most popular trekking region of Nepal and encounters by 50% and above tourists every years. The beautiful landscapes, the gorgeous mountain views, dense vegetation of rhododendrons, bamboos and giant firs throughout the trial are luring beauties of the trek. Apart from these, the rock strewn steep trials, rushing rivers, deep waterfalls and the exceptionally unique cultural practices in the villages mostly dominated by Gurung inhabitants is  equally worthwhile to explore. As the trek comes closer to the Annapurna Base Camp the improving views of the wide range of Himalayas and the cool Himalayan breeze provides the sensational joys. Annapurna Conservation Area Project has the lead role in preserving the floras, faunas, wild lives, and fragile nature of the region. The conserved area includes both the Base Camps Machapucchre and Annapurna. The trek in the region is also particularly popular because the trial also takes you the famous trekking peaks of Nepal including Tent Peak, Fluted Peak and Hiunchuli.

Day 01 Arrive Kathmandu International Airport, transfer to hotel (Altitude: 1350/4428 ft. Meal: Dinner)

On your arrival in Kathmandu International Airport, one of our representative will pick up you and escort you to the hotel as well as help you to check-in at hotel. After your refreshment, you will be briefed about the next day trip. In the evening, we, the Hiking Nepal will offer you a welcome dinner introducing Nepalese cuisine and culture.


Day 02: Drive to Pokhara, transfer to Hotel (Altitude: 823 m/2710 ft. Drive: 5/6 hrs. Meal: Breakfast)

Early morning, after breakfast, catch Tourist bus or we can also organize a private vehicle for you. Viewing countryside villages, farm, shops and river, you will reach at Pokhara. A beautiful place with tremendous views of mountains and lakes. You can also go for Boating at Fewa Lake. Overnight at Hotel.


Day 03 Drive to Nayapul, Tirkedhunga (Altitude: 1,577m/5205 ft.; Drive: 1 hrs. Trek: 3/4 hrs.)

After breakfast in Hotel, you will be driving along the Modi River valley. Starts a short trek from Nayapul, crossing a bridge over Modi Khola, and following muddy trail, you will reach at Tirkhedhunga. Spend overnight at local lodge.


Day 04 Trek to Ghorepani (Altitude: 2,800m/9,186ft Trek: 5-6 hrs. Meals: BLD)

Today, you will walk in a long uphill stone steps till Ulleri, a fine stopover for rest and lunch. On the way, you can catch splendid views of mountains, amazing landscape and cheerful locals. After tiresome walk in steep uphill till Ulleri, you will get an easy zigzag trail along the shade of refreshing forest, streams, reach at Ghorepani. It is actually located on the ridge separating the valley of Kali-Gandaki from the valley of Modi Khola as well as the highest point of this trip. It offers a fantastic view of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himalayan range. Spend overnight at local lodge.


Day 05 Early Morning Excursion to Poon hill for sunrise view and trek to Tadapani (Altitude: At Poonhill: 3210 m/10531 ft. Tadapani: 2,600m/8528 ft. Trek: 7-8 hrs. Meal: BLD)

Wake up early morning and make your journey to Poon Hill. It is a perfect place for marvelous view of sunrise over the snowcapped mountainous peaks. Walking for an hours in steep uphill really amaze you when you grasp eye-popping view of mountains in the north, turning into yellowish color step by step by the strike of sun rays over the snowcapped top. After spending an hour, return back to lodge for breakfast, then continue trek to the next spot- Tadapani. You will pass the forest of Rhododendron, Fir and Pine walking in ups and down trail. Now, you will reach at a beautiful place- Tadapani, surrounded by Rhododendron forest and splendid view of Mt. Fishtail. Overnight at Local lodge.            


Day 06 Trek to Chhomrong (Altitude: 2170 m/7095 ft. Trek: 5-6 hrs. Meal: BLD)

You will walk on the steep downhill to the Kimrong River through the forest of Oaks and Rhododendron, taking a closest view of Annapurna South and Fishtail. Afterward, crossing a suspension bridge, follow the smooth trail till Gurjung village. Climb uphill trail for a while to reach at the top of the ridge that join the route to Chhomrong. It is a last village settle by the Gurung ethnic tribe as well as an entrance for a Sanctuary. Stay overnight at local lodge.


Day 07 Trek to Dovan (Altitude: 2,600m/8580 ft. Trek: 5-6 hrs. Meal: BLD)

Follow the terrace village and farm fields trail till Chhomrong River, crossing a bridge, you will walk uphill trail till Sinuwa hill. Then onwards, you will enter to the dark and thick forest of Rhododendron till Khuldighar. Now, you will follow a long and steep steps downhill trail crossing Bamboo, oaks and Rhododendron forest towards Bamboo. From here, you will walk a short while to reach Dovan where you will stay overnight.


Day 08 Trek to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (Altitude: 3,700m/12210 ft. Trek: 3/4 hrs. Meal: BLD)

Climbing steeply for a while on a rocky trail through the forest, you will reach at Hinko cave. From here, you will encounters several gorge and avalanche track till Daurali, where you will take rest and have lunch. Following the trail to the Sanctuary crossing avalanche path, ascend toward the Macchapucchre base camp, a grassy moraine platform with several lodges. Allowing time, you can go to ridge to grasp the picturesque views of Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gangapurna and Macchapucchre.


Day 09 Trek to Annapurna Base Camp and back to Deurali (Altitude: 4,130m/13,545ft. 3,231m /12210 ft. Trek: 6/7 hrs. Meal: BLD)

A charming day of Sanctuary trip is when you reach at Annapurna base Camp. It will be a short but exciting walk in a fairly gentle ascent trail to Annapurna South Base Camp. An impressive views of picturesque landscape and snowcapped Himalayas surrounding you really feels amazing. Exploring for a while, now you retrace back to the Deurali for overnight stay.


Day 10 Trek to Bamboo (Altitude: 2,300m/7,544 ft. Trek: 6/7 hrs. Meal: BLD)

Spend your time enjoying sunrise view over the Himalayas, then retrace your journey back to Bamboo. It will be the steep downhill walk passing through the forest to the lodge at Bamboo. Take rest and enjoy the refreshing surrounding. Overnight at local lodge.


Day 11 Trek to Jhinu Danda (Altitude: 1,780m/5,859 ft. Trek: 5-6 hrs. Meal: BLD)

Today, you will have a short climb to Khuldi Ghar and retract to Sinuwa hill, here after you will follow long downhill to the Chhomrong Khola and continue trek up to the Chhomrong. After a lunch break, trek steeply descend towards the Jhinu for overnight stay. Allowing time, you can go for a visit to natural hot spring down to the stream and enjoy the dip bath and relax.


Day 12 Trek to Nayapul, drive to Pokhara (Altitude: 823m/2,700ft Trek: 6-7 hrs. Drive: 2 hrs. Meal: BL)

A final day to trek in Annapurna and be a long distance walk following Modi River to the way reaching at Landruk village. From here, you will follow the downhill path leading back to the Modi River reaching at Syauli Bazaar, where you will stay for lunch. The walk is pleasant most of the way following the Modi River to Birethanthi and back to Nayapul. Now, trek ends here and drives back to Pokhara. Rest of the time at your own. Overnight at hotel.    


Day 13 Drive to Kathmandu; evening Farewell Dinner (Altitude: 1350/4428 ft. Drive: 5-6 hrs. Meal: B/D)

Now, it’s a time to return back to Kathmandu. You can either fly or drive back to Kathmandu. Spend your time as you like. Evening time, we invite you for farewell dinner at authentic restaurant.
