I had been looking at trekking companies since February and never committing due to being uncertain which company to go with due to the mass amount of options. Hiking Nepal caught my eye with the wide variety of options across multiple countries and were very quick to respond daily on multiple occasions with any enquiries then I had. I only booked 10 days prior to my departure and was very impressed with Hiking Nepal swift confirmation and information provided to ensure I could prep for this trip accordingly. Upon arrival to Kathmandu; I was greeted by Ms. Nittam and help to check in at hotel. She introduce me with my trekking Guide Mr. Lok, who was a big reason why our trip was so memorable. He was well experienced, organized, and attentive and had two great porters with him whom reside in the same village with him. It felt like trekking with my Nepalese family instead of a pre-booked tour excursion. Itinerary wise, I loved doing a “circuit” over a trek back and forth on the same route, so this itinerary and suggested travel route is highly recommended!! I could not have asked for better service from prior to arriving Nepal to my 3 weeks in this beautiful country to the sendoff and follow up since to ensure I had arrived safely and so forth. I will ensure to book again and have my eye on several treks listed with this company! All the best Hiking Nepal and thank you for one of the highlights of my life. My experience with Hiking Nepal, and specifically Nittam was phenomenal. As a woman travelling alone, I was determined to find a trustworthy company and guide. Nittam suggested me a guide Tej who was great. His attention to my needs was outstanding. We created a short trekking route for Everest Base Camp Trek. Every tea house we stayed in along the way was fantastic, the food was great, and the hike was absolutely breathtaking. On conversation with other trekkers along the way, I was happy that I booked the trip in a very reasonable price. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company for planning any trekking/hiking/excursions. Wish you all the best and thank you for wonderful trek.

Decided to do something ‘epic’ with my daughter for my 50th – perfect choice! Nittam responded fully and quickly to all questions prior to the trip – very professional. On arrival in Nepal, we were completely looked after – met at airport, lovely quiet hotel near the busy Thamel central area, down jacket and sleeping bag arranged, flights to Lukla. Khem (our guide) and Dhurba (our porter) were amazing. Each evening we had a prep meeting for the next day. They made sure food and accommodation en route were on point and we enjoyed playing cards and sharing time with them. Fabulous guys – we couldn’t have done it without them. The team had even arranged a birthday cake for me to cut at EBC (we arrived there on my birthday) which we shared with an expedition team and Sherpas in Camp. Any problems which arose were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Totally professional and highly recommended 10/10

We, a couple from Austria 69/72 have booked a 28-day trek in Nepal hiking. The reason that we have chosen for this organization was a quick response to our emails, good value for money and an easy and professional handling by Mrs. Nittam Subedi. The included in the package Hotel Blue Horizon is very comfortable and scores with its friendly staff and a beautiful, peaceful garden. Our guide Debok and our 2 carrier Susan and Debok were extremely friendly and very helpful. Both the guide and both carriers have patiently adapted to our very slow paced and often carried a heavy camera. Debok is defying his youth a very prudent leader, very level-headed and was always concerned about our well-being. Many thanks to the team – highly recommended.

My friend John and I did EBC trek in November 2017. From the moment we landed in Kathmandu we felt very safe and friendly hands. The hotel was comfortable and the information given to us by Ms. Nittam before the trek was accurate and helpful. We were guided by Mr. Bal and Dipak, our porter were great guys. Their guidance and assistance throughout the trek was tremendous. The guide was well informed and also well known by the passing guides, porters and locals. The porter would help with anything asked of him and was happy to do so. We achieved all that we hoped for, it was a great trek and we recommend this company to everyone.

This year completed 50 years of life and with my wife Joanna decided to make a trek to the Everest Base Camp. How to choose the best route and also the best agency? An adventure that deserved a good planning. After long search between agencies in Brazil and outside, we chose Hiking Nepal. We started to organize the script with Nittam Subedi, exchanged some hotels to provide more comfort in certain stopping points where this was possible. When we arrived in Kathmandu, our guide, Mr. Prem was there waiting for us. He helped us to see if an item was missing for trekking and to review the details of the script. Support was full, the air travel to Lukla to return to Kathmandu, as well as the transfer to the airport on the way back to Brazil. In trekking, with two first-time hikers in the mountains, the guide and porter were essential. And along the way, we could see that the Nittam followed our script step by step. In the higher priced hotels, we won fruit dessert prepared by the guide, Mr. Prem. And so we followed for twelve days. In the rain, in the sun, in the cold, our guide was always firm, encouraging us to persist. When we got back to Lukla and the airport was closed, the Nepal Hiking negotiated exchange the ticket for a helicopter flight. Welcome dinner, party, at all times, whenever someone from hiking Nepal was waiting for us, lest we lost we felt. On the contrary, we have always had a lot of security, to be able to relax and enjoy Kathmandu, Lukla, Namche Bazzar, Everest, trekking and the Nepalese people. I believe that if you want to do hiking in Nepal, the best choice is #HikingNepal.

As a part of my holiday, I decide to trek Everest Base Camp and I choose Hiking Nepal. They organized my adventure trip perfectly. Not only was Nittam and her team extremely professional and nice, they made sure I was well prepared, answered all my questions, and took care of important details like ensuring I was on the first flights to/from Lukla.
Khem, my guide, coordinated for my trek was also incredible. He was knowledgeable with great information along the journey, but most importantly, he has a great personality and attitude which is obviously critical when you’re spending 10+ days with someone!
Overall, Hiking Nepal made my journey through the Himalayas an unforgettable experience! If you are doing any sort of trekking in Nepal, I highly recommend you speak with the team to help coordinate.

I have been to Nepal many times to climb and trek. I tried Hiking Nepal this trip and they were great. Nittam who arranges trips and lodging is great to work with. She is very responsive to the needs of their clients and is very customer service oriented. The guide that was initially going to work with us on our trek she felt was not up to her standards and she changed our guide at the last minute. Our guide that she chose at the last minute was Bale Tamang and he was wonderful. He was fun to be with and was very attentive to our needs. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He is also very knowledgeable about the area. It is easy to tell that he enjoys what he does as a guide. Nittam also arranged some other excursions around Nepal including visits to Pokhara, Lumbini, and Chitwan and the accommodations arranged were very good. Our trek in the Everest region was excellent with great accommodations. We went to Kala Patthar which is the place to go with its spectacular view. I have been to everest base camp before and we chose not to go there this time because in all honesty there is nothing really to see there. The view from Kala Pathar though is spectacular. This was my 6th time to the Everest area and this trip went very well. I will definite use Hiking Nepal when I return to Nepal again and would encourage anyone that is looking for assistance in a trip to also not hesitate in enlisting their services.

I always dreamt about EBC, and then came the day where I decided for the Trek very short handed. Nittam was wonderful with assisting me. She responded quickly, answered all my questions and organized everything in a very short time.
The Trek to Everest Base Camp was wonderful and truely unforgettable! My guide Raju, the porter Susan and I were a good team and with their help I made it to EBC happily.
Thank you very much for an unforgettable experience

November 1, 2022

My partner and I had an amazing time completing the Everest basecamp trek this October, it really couldn’t have been better. We had beautiful views from start to finish and the food and accommodation at the guest houses was really good. We were worried that we wouldn’t enjoy the food or be able to shower but this was never an issue. Our guide, Suddy, was absolutely brilliant. He was knowledgeable and always smiling and full of energy- this was something that really helps on the days when you’re feeling a bit tired and run down. Our porter was really lovely too and always had a smile on his face. If you’re thinking about doing EBC I really couldn’t recommend Suddy at Hiking Nepal enough.
